My Old Man,Said Be An arsenal Fan.....I said F..............

Ever wondered what would happen if a self opinionated Yid got hold of a laptop and wrote his views......then read on.......

After the disappointment of Thursdays Mickey Mouse.....sorry Europa League exit it was normal service today, you know a routine 4.0 win over Stoke,a Harry Kane hat trick, second in the league......
If only being a Spurs fan was that easy, you want easy....we are NOT the club for you,and I should know as a card carrying Spurs fan for 36 years and counting"Spurs, doing it the hard way since 1882" is not only a mantra it's a way of life.....that said I'm not sure I'd have it any other way.

Sure Thursdays exit from the Europa League was  to quote an well worn expression "so Spursy",although winning 2.1 and going out on the away goal rule would've been more Spursy but having Dele sent off b4 half time and still bossing the game w/ a  two man disadvantage{yeah I'm counting the ref as a Gent player,he may not of worn the hideous yellow kit but he might as well have been on their payroll......}we still came close to making to the round of 16.....to face Genk.........seriously the odds of Gent vs Gent had to have been one in fiveteen and yet "the battle of Belgium" looms large in a few weeks time.......but forgive me if my interest in the NIT tournament of European club soccer is over for another year....although Ajax are still in it and as someone who grew up idolizing Johan Cruyff that may retain some vague interest for yours truly as my interest focuses on the battle for a top four finish and another crack at the Champions League and a possible FA Cup triumph.

To that end an empathic 4.0 demolishing of Stoke this morning while the likes of City,Utd and woolwich were all idle allows us a bit of breathing space,if Leicester could do us a soild tomorrow vs Liverpool we could be in the Cat Bird seat w/ 12 remaining prem games between now and Sunday May 22nd.
Hopefully the prospect of a whole week off between games will aid and abet that b4 the potentially tricky game at home to Everton next Sunday.
Prayer mats will no doubt be out in full force re the extent of Toby's injury today......NOT that we ever get a straight answer w/ player injuries,I guess Toby will be back when Toby's back....let's just hope that's sooner rather than later

Final observation today,4.0 up at the half Harry had his third hat trick in nine games{WBA & Fulham} and Janssen still sat on the bench......."hasta la vista Vincent this summer"......?????
Till next Sunday the kosher deli on the Shelf Side is closed.....
